When Dad's work takes them to England, another summer of thrills begins for the Kerrigan Kids: 12-year-old Duffy, born in the United States; 11-year-old Seth, adopted from Nigeria; 10-year-old wise guy Juan from Mexico; and 9-year-old Pearl, born in Hong Kong. With a whole country full of palces to explore and exciting new adventures to be had, they can't help but have a good time, even if Juan's selfshness does get on everyone's nerves. But when they wind up living next to a pair of spoiled, snobbish, pain-in-the-neck English kids, Juan and the other Kerrigans learn an important lesson about having a good attitude and about being a good friend.
